These 3 techniques are very different and each have their own unique features and benefits.

Mosquito Misting Systems:
Mosquito Misting System is an automatic misting system that sprays a very fine mist of botanical insecticides through a series of nozzles and tubing. It will enclose your outdoor living space, creating a barrier against mosquitoes.

You can activate the unit with a remote control—or set it to mist automatically for 30-60 seconds of pure mosquito killing power.
If you use the automatic setting, you should set it to go off at both dawn and dusk, when mosquitoes are at their highest activity levels. These systems offer superior quality in controlling mosquitoes and other annoying insects, and the units are available in 2 different models: The Gen I 55 gallon system and Gen III Tankless Unit.

Residual Barrier Sprays:
A residual barrier spray program is one that treats all the places that mosquitoes rest and hide during the daytime, and essentially eliminates those places as legitimate hiding spots. We use a long lasting residual, and come out to your property every 3 weeks to reapply the treatment. Our applications is very target specific, and only focuses on the acres where mosquitoes (and ticks) are landing and resting.
Target areas are shaded, moist damp areas, that mosquitoes love to hide out. These areas include shrubs, flower beds, under decks, under carports, and anywhere there is some dense vegetation to hide. When mosquitoes land on these treated zones, they will be killed, and no longer be able to breed and bite.

Mosquito Fogging
Mosquito fogging is almost a hybrid of the 2 different applications of a Mosquito Misting System and a Residual Barrier Spray. A fogging application is a manual application, that tries to kill the mosquitoes while they are flying, usually done in the early morning hours and late in the evening.
Mosquito fogging is typically what is done with the truck mounted foggers that are driven around the neighborhoods late at night when mosquito pressure is at its highest.
There is very little residual protection, therefore applications are typically done every 21 days or so.
On a large scale commercial property or wide open area, where there is little vegetation, a fogging application is the better choice.
