Of course that is where the calls started, but not where they ended. We are still receiving calls from New Caney, Porter and Cleveland Texas areas from homeowners finding thousands of the millipedes invading their homes and yards. What Are Millipedes Arthropods that have a characteristic two pair of jointed legs on most of their entire body. Each of their double legged segments is a result of two single segments fused together. They are different from centipedes because centipedes have only one leg per body segments. Millipedes can come in a variety of colors. Centipedes are carnivores, while millipedes prefer to eat decomposing plants.
